Security Alert - Protect Your Private Information

Be Careful Not To Fall Victim to Common Scams

At McCoy Federal, protecting your privacy is important to us. Reports across the industry have suggested heightened fraud efforts emanating from other sources, but directed toward consumers, including but not limited to McCoy's valued members in the form of Text Messaging and Pretext Calling.

Rest assured, McCoy Federal will never ask members to provide confidential information, such as debit or credit card numbers, PINs or Social Security Numbers via text messages, over the phone, email, or US mail.

If you receive any text messages or telephone calls on behalf of the Credit Union, please do not provide confidential information.  With today's technology, it is easy for fraudsters to spoof telephone numbers, mimic websites and website addresses to make them appear legitimate.

These messages are fraudulent attempts to collect your personal information.

We ask that you be vigilant and protect your information.
