Join Us as We Run, Walk, and Honor Our Nation's First Responders and Veterans

First Responders, Veterans, families, friends and communities will gather on Saturday, September 11 for a special 5K run/walk around Cranes Roost Park.

All proceeds will benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation that provides mortgage-free homes to our nation’s catastrophically injured veterans, first responders and fallen first responder families with young children. 

The Foundation was formed to honor FDNY firefighter Stephen Siller and the lives lost on September 11, 2001. Siller bravely carried 60 pounds of gear on his back and ran from the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers after the city entrance was closed, ultimately giving his life to save others. 

To mark the 20th Anniversary, the Foundation has promised to deliver 200 mortgage-free homes by the end of the year to our nation’s heroes.
